The Story of Grey Meadows Media

Grey Meadows Media began from the shared passions of two sisters for horses and photography. When we embarked on this journey, our hearts were set on honoring the three horses that held a special place in our lives. After much contemplation, we settled on the name Grey Meadows. "Grey" pays tribute to Gabe, a remarkable grey gelding we owned for nine years, while "Meadows" honors Bentley and Harley, two horses from our teenage years. Interestingly, we found that "Leigh" in both their names signifies "meadow," making Grey Meadows a fitting tribute to our equine companions.

Our logo is more than just an emblem; it embodies the sentimental essence of our business. While initially only focused on horses, our vision expanded to include pets and farm animals. We aimed for our logo to reflect this expansion. With our primary focus on dogs and horses, it proudly showcases Shadow, our Australian Shepherd rescued in 2014, alongside Gabe, symbolizing the spirit of Grey Meadows.

The inclusion of our animals within our business holds profound significance for us. They are not mere pets; they are beloved members of our family. Although our trio of horses is no longer with us, their memory remains deeply etched in our hearts. They inspired our journey into photography, igniting a passion to capture and preserve fleeting moments. Grey Meadows Media serves as our commitment to immortalize the unique bonds shared with our furry companions through timeless photographs.

Our mission is fueled by a deep understanding of the importance of these memories. We feel privileged to turn these precious moments into tangible keepsakes. At Grey Meadows Media, our goal isn't just to capture images; it's to preserve legacies and celebrate the enduring bonds between humans and animals.

Hi! I’m the older sister of the duo, and I’ve been horse-obsessed for as long as I can remember. I’m also a proud dog mom to a mischievous Australian Shepherd named Theodore, who keeps me on my toes both at home and on the field. My love for photography started in my early teen years, and since I was always at the barn, horses quickly became my favorite subject to photograph. These days, a lot of my time is spent at dog sport events with Theodore. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me with a cup of coffee in hand (I’m a true Starbucks regular), cheering from the sidelines, or enjoying a slower moment when I can.

Hi! I’m the younger sister of the duo, and I’ve been horse-obsessed since I was three. The dog in our logo was my Australian Shepherd, Shadow, who I adopted when I was 18. He was my loyal sidekick for 11 amazing years, and I’m so lucky he picked me as his person. He’s a big part of why we do what we do today. I now have a Border Collie named Goose. She’s smart, sassy, and a little goofy, and we’re slowly starting our dog sport journey together. I’m so excited to see where we go as a team. When I’m not taking photos, you’ll probably find me sipping coffee, watching motorsports, baking something sweet, or curled up with a good book.
